Which portable/battery powered amp has the best sound quality for an outdoor concert?
The music is a mixture of soul and rock so it has to have some power.

first of all, one is combo amp and the other is a PA system
combo amp-an amplifier(where the knobs are) and a cabinet (the speaker)
PA system-a system of speakers which can be monitored through a mixer, but are NOT compatible with a guitar unless the guitar has 100ft long cord and hooked into the mixer.
if you play the guitar, the crate amp is the thing to go with. if you were talking about the sound for the gig, the the PA system
