How do I make my condo look "beachy" with brown leather furniture?
I just bought an ocean front condo and am renovating it. I found some great brown leather furniture on sale that would do well with wet suits, etc. But how do I make the rest of the place look more like a beach condo and not a den?
I live far away and can not be there to clean the messes left behing by renters. Leather cleans up well and is durable.
Slip covers? Not a bad idea.
I think slip covers could work, but the leather on its own can work with beach, especially with brown. Go with throws (maybe off white, or tan), such as small pillows and light afghans. Try to aim for wicker style items, or a beached wood look. And of course, put out those sea shells, light-houses, and a good beach themed picture for a focal point! Again, focus on the different shades of brown!
